The Wellness Complex

The Wellness Complex is another sign of growth expansion at Fayette County Hospital and Long Term Care.

The Wellness Complex specializes in: Outpatient Therapy Services (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy), Occupational Health Services, Family Medicine and Internal Medicine.

The Wellness Complex is located at 825 New York Drive, Suite #2, Vandalia, Illinois (behind Wendy’s).

THERAPY SERVICES

The Therapy Services department of Fayette County Hospital and Long Term Care includes a full staff of licensed therapists in all disciplines including:

• Physical Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Speech Language Pathology

Therapy Services are provided in all patient care settings, including at The Wellness Complex for outpatient.  Most insurance plans include coverage of therapy services.  However, you should contact your health insurance carrier to discuss your coverage.

Therapy Services offers a variety of services to accommodate the employer’s needs also.  Some of these services include, but are not limited to job site analysis, post-offer screening, functional capacity evaluations, work hardening and health fairs.    

The mission of Fayette County Hospital and Long Term Care is to improve the health of people and communities we serve.  Our therapy seeks to accomplish this mission by not only providing excellent patient care, but providing community education on prevention as well.  We are eager to expand our community involvement and would be happy to prepare a presentation on any therapy related topic.

The cost of a work related illness and injury is higher than ever and rising.  Our program serves employers and their employees by helping prevent work related conditions and treating the employee when an accident does occur.  Our goal is to return the employee to work, safely and as soon as possible.  With this in mind, Fayette County Hospital offers comprehensive, convenient, and high-quality services. 

A healthy work place is a more productive work place.  The key to remaining healthy is to participate in a wellness program.  We offer Health Fairs that are tailored to meet the employer needs.  We take pride that our Health Fairs have identified early stage leukemia and early stage breast cancer.  When identified early, these health problems are often treatable

ASAD JAMAL, M.D.

Dr. Jamal practices Family Medicine at The Wellness Complex.  He joined Fayette County Hospital and Long Term Care in June 2007.  Dr. Jamal is Board Certified in Family Medicine and previously practiced in a northwest suburb of Chicago.   He wanted an opportunity to work in a smaller community so he came to Vandalia!

EUSEBIO FERRER, M.D.
