Inpatient Therapy
The Therapy Department at Fayette County Hospital and Long Term Care is focused on restoring your greatest functional potential. Our multidisciplinary approach to patient care helps to ensure that all of the patient’s needs are met before, during and after their hospitalization.
The progressive rehab unit (PRU) is a skilled nursing facility comprised of 16 skilled beds. Swing beds are also available, and the same level of care is provided as on PRU.

Therapy services are available six days per week on the Progressive Rehab Unit and Swing. The therapy staff has an average of 7 years of experience. Our therapists have versatile backgrounds, which include extensive training in:

Discharge planning begins on admission to ensure that the patients and their families are prepared for and comfortable with the transition to the next level of care (home, outpatient, assisted living or nursing home).
