Respiratory Services

The Cardiopulmonary Service Department at Fayette County Hospital and Long Term Care provides services to:  pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.  Hours of operation are:  7:am to 7:00 pm everyday, however, there is on-call coverage 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.  The department is located on the 2nd floor of  the north wing in the hospital. 

Scope of Services include, but not limited to:
     Oxygen Therapy
     Mechanical Ventilation
     Noninvasive Ventilation (BiPAP, CPAP)
     Chest Physiotherapy and Postural Drainage
     Pulmonary Function Testing
     Methacholine Challenge Study
     Aerosol Therapy
     Manual Resuscitation
     Airway Management
     CPR
     Inservice Education - Education
     Pulse Oximetry
     Incentive Spirometry
     Nebulizer Therapy
     Patient Teaching - Education
     Patient Assessment
