The nomination form for Travis states: Travis has become a leader in EMS. He works with management to resolve issues and scheduling conflicts. Travis took the initiative to become a system Field Training Officer. As an above average paramedic he is now capable of teaching his stellar skills and knowledge to our new medics ensuring our patients receive top notch care now and in the future. Travis is always willing to help out whenever and wherever he is needed. He picks up hours that are left open. He also works in the lab as a phlebotomist. Allowing other areas of the hospital to utilize his superior skills is part of what makes Travis great.
In addition to a plaque, cake, preferred parking spot, and $50 Wal-Mart gift certificate, his name will be included in the nominations for the Employee of the Year Award for 2013.
