February Employee of the Month - 2010-02-10
Janice Stanford
Medical/Surgical Department
The nomination form for Janice states: Janice has exhibited loyalty to Fayette County Hospital for 30 years and to the nursing profession even longer. She brings experience and skill to the night shift and has been a “teacher” of new nurses and CNAs. Janice is a team player and will work extra when she is needed. Just this past Christmas holiday due to short staffing there was only one nurse, so she came in and worked the night she had requested off to spend with her family. Janice provides exceptional patient care and is great co-worker and resource for the night shift. Fayette County Hospital is blessed to have Janice and her nursing knowledge.
In addition to a plaque, balloon, cake, preferred parking spot, and $50 Wal-Mart gift certificate, Janice will be included in the nominations for the Employee of the Year Award at the 2010 banquet.
